From Points South by Auto: Drive north on Interstate 95. In Maine, Interstate 95 becomes the Maine Turnpike. Just past Portland, Take Exit 9 (leaving the Maine Turnpike, but still on Interstate 95).

Continue north on Interstate 95 to Exit 22 in Brunswick/ Bath (Coastal Route 1). Follow Route 1 North, through Brunswick, Bath, Woolwich, Wiscasset, Newcastle, Nobleboro, Waldoboro, Warren, Thomaston and Rockland.
